I began working on my PhD in Computer Science at Clemson University in Fall 2012. I passed my PhD portfolio review in October 2013 to become a PhD candidate. I am an Advanced Civil School (ACS) student on a fully funded Fellowship for the United States Army. In the summer of 2015, I will join the faculty of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Department.

My advisor is Dr. Amy Apon and I am member of the Big Data Systems Lab.

My previous academic experience includes an BS in Computer Engineering from Clemson (class of 98) and an MS in Computer Networking from North Carolina State University (class of 2009).

My  previous military assignments include two deployments in support of Operation Iraq Freedom (2005-2006, 2010). I have been stationed in Texas, Georgia, Alaska, North Carolina, and Maryland.

I am currently a Functional Area 24, Telecommunications Systems Engineer in the rank of Major.
